Hmm…

Internet hackers scare me to death. You know who I’m referring to. So. If you ever decide to get your creepy hands on my baby, I will teach you what it truly means to be scared. Huhu~

Grades again…

I’ve become a bitter person. A very bitter bitter bitter bitter bitter bitter bitter bitter bitter bitter person. You know what did this to me? I’ll tell you- GRADES. Why. WHY must the universe feel the need to test me of trivial facts and figures? WHY?!

-sigh-

I’m not sure if it’s just me… but I get pretty annoyed when I see people ripping off other designers of their work. I mean, if someone is nice enough to offer part of his or her resources in order to make your life a little bit easier, it won’t hurt you to add a quick link. Goodness… how lazy we all have gotten.

And don’t even get me started about people who think it’s okay just to put that their images are from google.com… no, google (a company that is not completely on my happy list) is not responsible for those images, it just pulls it out of a list of top hits.

Just for you, Ellapoo

Just for you, Ellapoo

First of all I apologize for the serious lack of updates around here, but I do have some legitimate reasons… I think. So far the two main things on my mind are 1. grades, of course, I do follow the Asian stereotype that it is unacceptable to get grades below an A, and 2. roodesigns.net. In general, I think I’m doing swimmingly in both of my goals, my grades have been satisfactory, and RD received over 100,000 unique visits in the last month. If you think about it, that’s pretty impressive for a small site that mainly gets advertised by word of mouth.

The only thing that’s been bugging me is that my personal life is at an all time low. My week usually consists of school, homework, studying, stressing out over grades, and a few commissions on the side. I guess I’m at my last straw of patience and… well, one more thing over my head might kick me off the bandwagon and into who knows what. But I shouldn’t complain too much, everyone has to go through this after all… which means you too, if you haven’t already experienced the backbreaking task of carrying textbooks everywhere.

One thing I am looking forward to however is my friend Kat’s sweet 16 tomorrow, it’ll be the highlight of my month. I’m still deciding between which pair of heels I should wear, but I guess it doesn’t really matter since everyone will be looking at the pinnacle of graciousness and beauty- the hostess and birthday girl. I’ll blog more about this some other time, since I’m sure something embarrassing will be bound to happen. Roo + dress + heels= … well, let’s just say that it isn’t pretty.

Right now, I think I’m going to follow Abo and take a nice bath and head off to bed.

A dose of green

That last layout, even though I loved it for a full two minutes, started bugging the living daylights out of me. So, I took advantage of my day off from school to bring you all a very green version of Rooeh. Enjoy!~
