I’ve been extremely busy this week… again. I think I’m really beginning to slack off on a lot of things, mainly school related stuff. So for those of you that have been complaining about my lack of updates and the such, please try to remember that I am trying to juggle school, work, and my business on top of that. I am by no way complaining, I still think myself as lucky to be able to make a living (or so to speak) the way I do… there aren’t many people out there who can sit at home in front of the computer, listen to jpop, drink Starbucks and eat girl scout cookies… and earn money at the same time.
Yup, I love what I do. Minus the headaches I’ve been getting lately.
Oh well, besides that bit of unpleasantness, my shipment of supplies finally came in. I mostly ordered a few simple vintage findings, but they seem to be very popular so far. I’m basically down to my last 5 in rings and pins, so if you’re looking for something adorable, head on over to the shop.
I’m also currently buying a few yards of vintage Japanese kimono fabric, which I think will be a very cute base to a few pouches I’m going to run through the ol’ sewing machine next week.
As for now, spring is in the air and I need to be planning my next photo shoot.

I bet that’s what the designers were thinking when they decided to name their shoe “Nonda”… Not trying to be mean or anything, but I thought that was a hilarious name for a shoe.
Anyways, my break is basically just about over and I need to major cram a lot of information in my head for next week. But my five lazy days were well worth it. Okay, not that lazy, since I did manage to open my new shop, Studio Rooeh.
If there’s one thing I learned in this whole process, it’s not to work in close proximity with Aleene’s 7800 glue. Trust me, there’s one headache you want to avoid. I’m still in the process of finding more vintage cabochons, and of course, add new listings to the shop daily. ( For instance, I got these adorable blue lily cabs today. :3 )
