Nothing is personal anymore

Nowadays, it’s really hard to find a place where I can just rant. Rant rant and rant on without censoring my words. (Not like they really need censoring, but whatever). Maybe this is just me, but I’m scared to post some of the stuff I really need to blog about. One side of my conscience is rooting me on, but the nicer half is telling me to take deep breaths and forgive and forget.

Adjusting

For some reason, I decided to write this blog after replying to all my emails… and so, sorry if I don’t make perfect sense at 12:05am

So, of course, I’m starting the last few years (… well okay, not that many years left) of my educational commitments. It’s been almost six weeks since the new school year, and I can already tell that this year will be quite different that what I’m used to. For example, I used to use the phrase “I think I Asian failed that _____” , meaning that I got within the grade range that most of my friends would shake their heads at. Now, however, I’m beginning to use the phrase “I think I Asian bombed that _____”. Yes, I have broken stereotypes, be proud.

Anyhow, my life has been anything but boring lately and I’m finally breaking down on my good sleeping habits (basically, 8 hours per night). It seems like I now situate my life around my various tests, projects, presentations, studying, and other random tidbits of work. I’m not complaining however, all the stuff I’ve been assigned the past 6 weeks have really made the time fly by. My teachers have really been cracking me up too… in a not-so-funny way. I can’t really explain it, so I’ll just go on with my story. One day, I was walking into a building, through a door (duh), but when I went to open the door, I found that my foot was in the way. The door, a steel contraption with a very sharp bottom edge, sliced through the first few millimeters of the skin on the top of my right foot. It immediately began bleeding, and caused me to go into a fit of hysteria. I cannot stand blood lately… I’m not sure what really caused this new aversion, but I have a sneaking suspicion it has to do with a movie I saw a few weeks back. Anyhow, I limped to my class and promptly asked my teacher for a bandage to stop the flow of blood that was getting onto my shoes. He took one look at my foot, started laughing, and told me quite bluntly to suck it up. He then proceeded to describe some very detailed accounts of the times he 1. got nailed by a nail gun, 2. got sliced by a saw, and 3. dislocated his shoulder (and demonstrated for the class how he can now dislocate said shoulder by will). I honestly don’t think this really had anything to do with my situation, I’m not stupid enough to be nailed by a nail gun. I don’t go near power tools period.

Well, I can barely keep my eyes open, not to mention remember what I was talking about. I will blog later and post some pictures… fun.

My random ephiphany

So, this morning I realized just how shallow some of the songs I listen to are. I can’t shake off this feeling that I’m slowly being brainwashed… but maybe that’s the sleep deprivation talking.

I have a lot to update, so hopefully I will get around to that this weekend. Just three more days to go my lovelies~

Guess what I am :)

hehe

Yum, neh?
Anyways, these first few weeks of school have been really tiring. I sort of forgot how hard… working is… and homework in general I guess. Oh well, I guess it’s time to grit my teeth and get through it all. Only 290 something days to go?

Hopefully yall are enjoying your school days too.
