From this past year’s various blogs concentrated solely on my need to bicker at something, even inanimate objects, I should have learned by now that the start of a day is the most important. Take today for example, when I had to drag my grumpy behind out of bed at 4:30am. One sleep deprived teenager is enough to deal with, but I also had the far from pleasant driving companions of my stressed out mother and still jet lagged father. You see, the reason why we were crazy enough to get up this early was because my little ol’ passport was on the point of expiration. If I wanted to stay in this lovely country without complications, this would be the only day to do it. Not to mention we had to do it before 11:00am. I suppose the republic of China likes to take a nice lunch break, but by all means they were very, very helpful people.
Anyways, everything went off without a hitch until we turned in the necessary paperwork. My passport picture, apparently, was not up to standards with its pretty baby blue background. Fortunately I was able to get my picture taken on site inside a cubicle like setup. However, after blinking the first take and suffering a few angry mumblings from the camera man, my picture turned out less than desirable. When we ripped the Polaroid paper, a tired, wide eyed and angry girl stared back up at us. But with all things in consideration, at least the job was done.
I guess the best part of the day was when we stopped for lunch at a place we’ve never heard of. I have to say I’m not a huge fan of tater tots, but the Texas Burger fast food chain really do a job well done with them. My tots were nice and crispy, minus the grease drippings, after only three or so minutes.
Site wise
I think I’ve created about three new website layouts, two Wordpress templates, two dark Wordpress themes, ten patterns, five stock photos, and two CSS templates in the past week. So I hope you all have enjoyed that. Since there are only 25 days left of summer vacation for me, I will do my best to make the most of my remaining time. And also, I want to have as much content up as possible when it comes to Rooeh’s one year birthday on August 15th. Exciting, I know. This is also when I will announce the winner of the vector competition, so it’s still not to late to enter.
P.S. Did you know $3.60 per gallon gas prices still existed?

“However, after blinking the first take and suffering a few angry mumblings from the camera man, my picture turned out less than desirable.”
…is probably the best quote ever. Okay, no it’s not, but it was definitely quote o’ the day for me.
