The Corrupted Dance
I would have liked to blog about a nice peaceful Friday evening at home, but however, I cannot. Due to the fact that I am too nice for my own good and was dragged to the school “fall” dance by Caroline. If you are having images of pretty girls in gowns and guys in dashing tuxedos, just stop. It will disappoint you far too much from the description I am about to give. 
When Caroline and I first arrived, we were oh so shocked to find that we were the first two eager young beavers to be welcomed into the gloomy cafeteria that looked even more ridiculous with the plastic fish taped on some of the walls. By instinct I suppose, we went to a corner of the room and complained to each other about the outdated music and bad taste of decoration. Soon, Andrew and Nick joined in our little sad group. The latter also was dragged by Caroline to come to the dance.
Now here comes the entertaining part of the night. I have known Andrew for about two days, his first impression was pretty good- I knew him as the innocent blond kid that sat in front of me in geometry. How wrong I was to assume that. Just some advice to all of you out there, never judge a person by their looks. Give yourself some time to find out how deeply corrupted they are. That way, you won’t fall over in surprise when you see your friend doing something that you would never expect he or she to do. For instance, hmm, leading a girl on when he clearly had no interest for her. Tsk tsk Andrew, I am so disappointed in you. Oh how Caroline and I laughed, as we watched from afar, at a couple of sophomores who started taking interest in the innocent looking freshman. :T

Once again, the site will be going under a complete revamp from about 2:00pm central time tomorrow until hopefully 8:00pm on Sunday. I will try and hurry up the process! Visit the awsome caroline's siteRoo, let me just say that you’re FAR too nice (the fact you actually came, and the fact that you didn’t give too many disturbing description…) ok, so here what I saw: After Andrew and Nick came,we sat around for a while talking. Andrew seemed like he was innocent(how wrong i was…) anyways, people started coming and the music got louder and the place got darker. This is where trouble begins… one sophmore takes “interest” in Andrew and starts to dance with him, let me rephrase that, it was more of Andrew and the girl grinding… ewww i know. my eyes were rotten… ok so i expected him to come and sit down a bit but he keeps on “dancing”. He comes back later to us, and looks shocked. he said he felt “violated” but he goes back again and dances again…. ironic…. anyways he starts dancing with this other sophmore and “dances” with her too. except, this time she seems really interested in him. he leads her on for a quite a bit. the girl sits down next to him, i sit on the other side, and roo next to me. Roo starts talking to him behind my back about how the girl likes him. i hear everything but also sees the 10th grader fuming with jealousy… lol. Roo tries to tell him something again but the other girl got too jealousy and pulled him towards the dance floor. he says no this time. that obvioulsy pisses her off. so here it is, if you think someone LOOKS innocent, chances are that you’ll be surprised :/

The dance was interesting, especially everyone grinding… I didn’t get to see Andrew become the pervert he really is though, because I ditched (as caroline is reminding me right now). It doesn’t seem like I missed that much really, so it’s not a terrible loss ;]. By the way, I thought Andrew’s attempt to act innocent while grinding on that girl was very entertaining

We haven’t had a dance at our school yet. The next one is the homecoming dance on Oct. 13. I hope ours isn’t like yours. I’m going of my own volition but I have at least 7 (count ‘em! 7!) friends on me to wear a dress, but of course you already know that.
SPEAKING OF HOMECOMING… sorry, have to rant about marching band… Yesterday was marching band extravaganza. I’m not entirely sure when homecoming actually IS, because there was the parade yesterday, a football game today, and the dance next week. Anyway, straight after school I was supposed to report to the cafeteria where they were giving us pizza for a dollar a slice. It was cheap because it was the only chance we’d have to eat until we went home at 9:30. Then we get all dressed in our hot, ugly, heavy, uncomfortable marching uniforms, load onto the buses (they got new buses! they have super tall seats that make you feel reeeaaally short and tinted windows!) and went to march in the parade, where we played our song 8 consecutive times and had annoying people clapping at us in the wrong rhythms and throwing rocks at us. Then we went back on the buses, were carted back to play at the football game, and then, after 6 HOURS, we were finally allowed to go home. My legs are still throbbing x.x
So perhaps you had a better Friday than I did? Or maybe not… hehe
