Got Drama?

rawr It was to my great surprise to find my nap rudely awakened by the screeching voice of two furious senior high students on the gloomy bus. After a few seconds of blinking and looking around to see where the noise was coming from, it was soon evident to my knowledge that my friends and I were trapped in the middle of a heated cat fight. Apparently the fight had begun with a few accusations of “What’d you say about my mama?” and “**** *** *****…”, I’ll leave out the other unpleasant language. The next thing we knew, one girl was on top of the other girl, seemingly strangling her, and the other one was screaming while trying to push off her assaulter. Throughout all of this violence, the other students on the bus tried to avoid this scene even though several curious eyes kept straying back to the commotion. The bus driver, however, took action and picked up radio and spoke in broken, heavily accented English, “There is a fight on the bus, please send police!” If there is one thing that I’ve learned from this experience, it is that the most important piece of information that you can give the police is your location, which can cut down their arrival time at least by 10 minutes. It was during the 20-25 minute wait that the fighting finally died down, leaving one girl heaving and shaking on a seat with a bloody lip, and the other girl trying to get out the back through the emergency door.

The rest of the day went by as the police came speeding down the quiet neighborhood with the ambulance in tow. We all felt sorry for the residents who came walking by, curious of what had happened. Especially for one six year old boy who stared googly eyed at the whole scene as he passed back and forth on the nearby sidewalk. Hopefully we did not scar his bright, enthusiastic view of the educational road that would await him in the following years. :annoyed:

Since spring break has started, I’ll have plenty of time to update some loose nails here and there. So, hopefully I can have the new layouts I’ve wanted to put up for a while… and was too lazy to.
