Day 24: Masonry.js

Just thought I’d post a quick blog about the website – the backend coding of it at least. I’m sure most of you have already figured out that I’m using masonry.js for my formatting. Although it took me a little bit of time to figure out, I love it – works in most browsers and fairly straightforward. Right now I’m using the basic single column option (I just applied the CSS styling to my posts tags for WP inside the loop). I am aware that there are several WP themes that are available for free that also uses masonry.js (unfortunately I didn’t figure this out until after I had finished coding my theme), but I will probably post the source files for my theme sometime in the near future – I want to do some more extensive comment styling first!

Masonry changed my life. The only problem I have now is that I can’t seem to come up with a new theme idea that doesn’t involve using Masonry.

Wonders what it can do. I sure didn’t seeing you using this in your layout, so I was surprised you pulled it off, so kudos to you ;P

@Anthony: Can’t go wrong with a nicely styled 2-column layout.
