A glimpse into the past

Here are all of the documented versions of the past layouts on rooeh.net! I tried to organize them based on date added, however, my documentation skills are pretty sad… Feel free to grab some inspiration from these works! :-P

This was the first layout that ever appeared on rooeh.net. This monster took about 6 hours to vector alone, although... I guess that was mainly due to my poor understanding of the pen tool at that time. I've always had a fascination with dinosaurs... Honestly, I didn't like the way I coded in this layout... that's probably why it only lasted a week or so. This was my first experimentation with different layout templates. I think it turned out pretty well :D I was trying something new with the pen tool here, and I sort of liked the result. This was mainly a coding breakthrough from my regular two column style. This layout was to celebrate the half birthday of the opening of rooeh.net! The only thing I regret is the fact that I didn't bother to add enough details to the header... My first real attempt at a web 2.0 style layout. Sadly, I stayed too attached to my regular style. This was a nice winter-like theme that was created around Christmas time. Isn't this a cute way to kick off 2008? This was my first layout that contained both vector and stock images. The main reason for this layout was to prove to people that you DO NOT need an expensive program to produce a quality layout. This took me about 6 hours to complete with shading and details in MSpaint. This was a fun and fast redo of my first ghost-themed layout. Baa! Doesn't this feel like spring? This is no doubt my most complicated and detailed layout. I spent about 12 hours in total on coding and vectors, I think of it as a little HOORAY! SCHOOL IS OVER! commemorative. Another version of layout #14. This was probably my favorite layout to code, since I finally got myself to work with DHTML again. My first attempt at an almost all CSS layout.
